How do I cancel my site?

Please contact us with your requirements and we can give you a quote on this different design.
Can my website be hosted elsewhere?
No. All our websites are built on our unique Content Management System which is installed on our servers, this means you can update your website as your needs change. It can also grow with you! However because of this CMS the site cannot be moved to other servers.
Can I move my domain name if I no longer host with you?
Yes. You will remain the legal owner of the domain name you register with us. The name can be moved or transferred. However your website cannot be moved.
Who actually owns the website me or you?
The issue of intellectual property ownership in website development is very unclear. How it works with us is, the client owns the content of the website i.e. images you supplied and wording, but Qualitysites owns the XHTML/CSS template, tools and applications used to run the website, i.e. CMS, e-commerce system, blog system, unless those components have been designed specifically for the client and are specified to be their property by contract, this can be arranged through custom development.
This is the key difference between what we are offering on qualitysites and what we can offer through custom development. If you need custom development please contact sales@qualitysites.com.au directly.
What if I need more help?

What do I need to have ready for my website to be built?

Getting your site search engine friendly
We have a whole section dedicated to this. you can get more info here:
Copying and pasting your content from word into your site page
When you copy directly from MS word into your page, sometimes you bring along extra formatting that does not show up well on your page. ie wording different sizes.
To get rid of this formation you will see a small button on your editor with a 'word' image, click on this and paste your content into the box that pops up, then you can continue, and make changes to the content inside the editor.
To fix this simply highlight all the text on your page then;
- Under the Format drop down box select "paragraph"
- Under the Font drop down box select "font family"
This changes text to all same size on page then you can bold , underline etc as needed.
How to get your image to be the right size before uploading to site.
When you upload your images to site it is important to consider 2 things
- Image Size: ie how big it looks on your site and
- Image File Size: (large file sizes take too long to upload)
It is best to address both of these before you upload your image. A great free program that does both of these well is found at
Download the free program ( it is small program ), once program is installed you simply:
- Click file open ( find the image you want to work on )
- Click Image........resize/resample ( set new size - place in a number about 250 width )
- Click ok ( if this is still too small or large, start again and put in a new size, until happy with size )
- If you want to sharpen the image a little more
- When you a happy
- click file.........save as....... ( name it what you want) keep it as 'save as type' JPG
- This will automatically reduced the file size so it uploads quickly.
